The aim of the Level 2 Award in Skin Care and Facial Treatments (RQF) is to provide learners with the starting point of knowledge and understanding to safely provide facial treatments to clients. During the qualification learners will learn the skills required to practice health and safety in a salon environment, gain suitable communication skills to care for clients and learn about the facial anatomy and physiology, legislation of products for skin care, prepare for and provide skin care information and facials to clients.
Age Ranges:
Entry is at the discretion of the centre. However, learners should be aged 16 to undertake this qualification
Geographical Coverage:
This qualification is available in England and Northern Ireland and at all skin deep centres.
